V-IH Solutions can perform lead-based paint surveys using the state-of-the-art portable Niton XRF Lead Analyzer which detects and measures the lead content in paints and primers on wood and metal surfaces without destructive testing and costly lab analysis. V-IH Solutions can also provide environmental and personal sampling for lead during lead abatement projects.

Initial Lead Inspection
Prior to starting any construction-related work in a property with suspected lead-based paint materials, an initial inspection is required to stay compliant with local and federal regulations. Our lead inspections are performed with a Niton XRF lead analyzer which allows for non-disruptive testing of possible lead-based paint materials. Upon completion of the lead inspection, we provide a detailed report containing the test results, the location of tested materials, and recommendations moving forward.

Final Clearance Sampling
Final clearance sampling is required to ensure that lead abatement was performed correctly and that the work area was cleaned properly to allow for re-occupancy. Final clearance consists of dust wipe sampling as well as a visual inspection following local and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations.
